Fresh or frozen seafood

Cannot be accepted as check-in baggage. 

May be accepted as cabin baggage, subject to the destination’s quarantine regulations. 
 
Items are to be properly packed and meet the cabin baggage policy.  

If dry ice is used in the packaging of these items, a maximum of 2.5 kg of dry ice per passenger is permissible in the cabin. 

Acceptance of such items is at our discretion and we reserve the right to refuse carriage.


Oversized Items

Oversized Baggage :

Any baggage that exceeds the weight and size permitted for hand-carry and counter check-in is defined as oversized baggage. Kindly refer to "Check-in Baggage" page for the permitted baggage size.

Oversized Sports Equipment :

Due to the large size and handling complexities of some sporting equipment which cannot be accommodated through the airport baggage system or within the aircraft cargo hold, we do not accept the following equipments and any other sports related equipment :

Musical Instruments

Can be checked in as your baggage allowance although it is not advisable due to the risk of damage. 

Can be carried on board at no extra cost if the instrument fits the cabin baggage policy. 

If it exceeds, you will need to purchase an extra seat.

However it must not exceed 75 kg and the permitted dimension - height 103cm, length 41cm, width 41cm.

Wedding Dress

Needs to be checked in if it exceeds 7kg.

If carried onboard, the wedding dress must be properly packed to fit our cabin baggage policy. 

Please note that any storage facilities to hang or store items are not available onboard.

Electronic devices, Ceramic, Glassware

Safe as Check-in Baggage?

These items are strongly advised not to be checked in. 

Can be carried in as long as it fits the cabin baggage policy. 

However, you are required to be mindful of any damage risk and strongly encouraged to ensure the items are securely packed. 

Television (TV)

TV and the set packed together should not exceed 32 kg in weight. 

It must be properly packed and protected with internal padding to protect from impact.

You will be required to sign a release of indemnity form releasing MYAirline from liabilities. 

You are also advised to purchase a Travel Insurance package.

Not allowed 

Valuable Items

Money, jewellery, precious metals, silverware, identification documents.

These items are not permitted to be carried in your check-in baggage.

Can be carried in as long as it fits the cabin baggage policy. 

However, you are required to be mindful of any security risk and strongly encouraged to ensure the items are securely packed. 


Motorised Personal Vehicle / Transporter

Self-balancing battery powered small vehicles are levitating platforms (like a skateboard without wheels) that can be used for personal transportation.
