When is Online check-in available?

Online check-in opens three (3) days before departure and closes 1 hour before departure.


Who is eligible to use Online check-in?

Online check-in is available for all individuals & groups up to 50 passengers except for:

  • Passengers experiencing reduced mobility or requiring special assistance
  • Passengers 12 - 16 years old and travelling alone
  • Passengers travelling with an infant (aged 8 days and not attained its 2nd birthday)
  • Passengers with a medical condition that requires a doctor’s approval to travel
  • Pregnant between 28 and 34 weeks inclusive


You can still perform self-check-in even if:

  • You are pregnant for up to 27 weeks (inclusive). 
  • You have a medical condition that does not require a doctor’s letter of approval to be eligible for air travel.

For pregnant women who are between 28 weeks (about 6 and a half months) to 34 weeks (about 8 months) pregnant, please present your doctor’s letter and other necessary documents to the check-in counter.


How do I print my baggage tag?

After checking in via, you will be able to print your bag tags from our sales kiosk in KLIA2 or the check-in counter.

If you have check-in baggage, please ensure that you drop off your luggage bags before the baggage drop closing time. 

Depending on the destination/country, verification of your boarding pass may be required. Ensure that you verify your boarding pass at our document check counter. 


Can I still make a change after completing web check-in? What is the cut-off time?

After performing online check-in, you are allowed to make the following changes to your booking.

  1. Baggage upgrade: You may purchase/upgrade baggage up to 4 hours before your departure time.
  2. Purchase or change meals: You may add and change meals up to 24 hours before your departure time.
  3. Seat Assignment: You may pre-book seats up to 4 hours before your departure time.
  4. Change flight time/date: You may change your flight time and date up to 48 hours before the original departure time.

Note: After you have made changes to your booking, you will need to reprint your boarding pass by going to Manage Bookings. 


How early do I need to come to the airport after performing online check-in?

If you have bags to check-in or need to verify your travel documents, head to our bag drop or check-in counters. Opening and closing times are listed below:

Domestic Flights

International Flights

Opens: 2 hours before departure

Opens: 3 hours before departure*     

Closes: 45 minutes before departure

Closes: 1 hour before departure (all airports)


If I do not have any bags to check-in, can I go straight to the boarding gate without going to the check-in counter?

Yes, you can head straight to the boarding gate. Please keep in mind that the boarding gate closes 20 minutes before departure. If you are required to verify your travel documents, please proceed to the check-in counter for more details.

Important reminder: There may be long queues at immigration and airport security, especially during the holiday season. Please arrive at the airport early to avoid missing your flight.
